Getting Started - All Faculty & Staff
Initial Setup of your Account
You should receive a welcome email to your personal email address with your CA username, email address, password, and temporary code. If you have not received this welcome email please reach out to help@coloradoacademy.org.
Important! The first time you login to your account you must setup multi-factor authentication. If you do not follow these instructions you will be locked out of your account.
Please complete the following steps:
- In a web browser on your computer visit: https://myaccount.google.com/
- On the top right click the blue button Go To Google Account.
- Enter your CA email address (firstname.lastname@coloradoacademy.org) and click Next.
- Enter your password and click Next.
- When prompted for an 8 digit backup code, enter the temporary code you received in your personal email and click Next.
- Click Accept to accept Google's terms and conditions.
- Click Enroll two enroll in multi-factor authentication and follow the instructions.
Access your CA Email
Colorado Academy uses Google Workspace for email. You can access your CA email from any web browser at https://www.gmail.com. Sign in using your CA email address and password. If you've never used Gmail before Google has a comprehensive beginner's guide.
If you want to add your email to your personal phone we recommend using the Gmail app which can be downloaded from the Apple Store for iPhones or Google Play Store for Android devices.
